1. Reception of the Bridegroom
VaaraNam aayiram suuzha valam seidhu
naaraNa nambi nadakinraan enredhir
pooraNa porkudam veithu puramengum

8. Stepping on the stone

ammi midhikka kana kanden thozhi naan

9. Offering puffed rice

(My brothers bore bright countenance, eyebrows, arched and bent like a bow, Kindled the sacrificial fire making it to leap into flames, And brought me in front of that fire, And placed my hands in the hands of Achchuda, Who has the bearing, that of a majestic lion! And they [brothers] showered puffed rice over our clasped hands! Friend! So I saw it in my dream!)

10. Visiting friends and relatives  and taking holy bath
Kumkugam appi kuLirchandham mattithu 
magala veedhi valam seidhy maNaneer 
angavanodum udanchenranganai mel 
manjanamaatta kana kanden thozhi naan.

(Smearing the pastes of kungumam and fragrant and cool chandan all over our bodies, Relishing the sprinkling of perfumed water on us, by all those gathered around I went around the decorated town on an elephant along with him seated by my side! Friend! So I saw it in my dream!)
